Flint Hills Discovery Center
Opened in April 2012, this 35,000 square foot facility immerses visitors within the wonder and beauty of the Flint Hills. Guests of all ages enjoy exploring over 10,000 square feet of interactive exhibits and exciting temporary exhibits, as well as an one-of-a-kind theatre experience and prairie-inspired outdoor plazas.
McCain Auditorium & Nichols Theatre
Located on the K-State campus, McCain hosts an array of outstanding artists and attractions each year in the McCain Performance Series. From ballet to Broadway, jazz to chamber music, comedy to classic theatre, McCain has something for every taste.
Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art
Home to K-State’s permanent art collection, the museum includes approximately 7,000 works of art; annual attendance exceeds 30,000.
Manhattan Arts Center
The Manhattan Arts Center is home to theatrical performance series, BirdHouse Music Series, gallery exhibitions, and art classes.

Live Music
The Aggieville and Downtown districts pull in a large number of great performances throughout the year. Catch performances at places like The Hat, Auntie Mae’s, and Bluemont Hotel in the Aggieville district. Manhattan’s City Park hosts live music acts throughout the summer as the Arts in the Park summer series.
